ARION 5 is an active three-way line array, composed of 4 SL 025 units and 1 SL 115 A unit. Each SL 025 consists of 2 5.25" loudspeakers and a 2.2" compression driver with polymer membrane attached to the VI-5 waveguide. The SL 115 SA subwoofer cabinet uses a 15" driver, with a 3.5" voice coil. It has digital signal processing, and the power is provided by a Class D amplifier of 1000W peak in bass, 650W peak in midrange and 150W peak in treble, which incorporate thermal and overload protections. Independent RMS and peak limiters are used on each path.
